Much needed update

Well, either I’m a lazy bastard or I just don’t have time to update this site as much as I’d like (I’d like to think it’s the latter). Either way, I figured I’d post an update here. Currently OM NOM NOM NOM is full clearing ToC 10 and we’re going to start ToC 10 Heroic. We’re also looking to finally kill Yogg as well. As soon as we do I’ll record it and put it on my youtube channel. Speaking of the youtube channel, i did some organisational type stuff - i created playlists that organise the videos a bit. Head on over to the Rawx0r Youtube Channel to check out the playlists as well as a video for every ToC10 boss.

Well, progression in Ulduar is going wonderfully. Last night we took at Mimiron. I’ve posted a video over at our guild website (http://www.omnomnomnomguild.com). I’m thinking that Mimiron will be the next strategy guide that I write… if I ever get to it anyway .

Video Strategy: Ignis the Furnace Master - Ulduar

It’s been so long since I’ve posted anything here (even though i’ve been uploading videos to youtube regularly) i figured I’d write a strategy for one of the harder (for now anyway) bosses in the first area of Ulduar: Ignis the Furnace Master. When Ulduar was first release Ignis was near impossible, my bets are on the fact that Blizzard hadn’t tuned him yet because within a week or two he was hot fixed and made significantly easier (yet still pretty tough). Well, last night we downed him for the first time (we only made one previous attempt the first week Ulduar was out and decided not to touch him again until he was fixed) last night and i recorded it and wrote a strategy for it :). So, without further a-do i give you Ulduar raid video strategy: Ignis the Furnace Master. Enjoy!

We’re in Ulduar now! We’ve already downed the Flame Leviathan and Razorscale - the videos are being uploaded to youtube as I type this. I’ll be adding strategies for them in the coming days.

So is heading into EoE these days. We’ve only made 5-6 attempts thus far, but we’ve already made it into the second phase. Our next attempt should be a lot more successful given that we’ve actually looked up strategies for the fight this time I’ll post videos as soon as I’ve got them

I still haven’t gotten around to writing any more strategies, as always - i’ll get to it eventually

New raid strategy: Sapphiron

I figured that since our guild did so well on Sapphiron last week i should write up a strategy for it - also, it’s been a while since i’ve done that and that’s what this site is supposed to be for anyway (well that, and to stroke my ego i guess). Anyway, i added Sapphiron to the list of strategies. I think this is the most elaborate strategy I’ve written yet. Although I’m positive there will be more elaborate strategies (Kel’Thuzad, Thaddius, 4 horsemen - etc). Anyway click here to check it out.

Here’s a video from last week’s Sapphiron attempt. We downed him on our very first try and with only 2 healers!

It was a perfect execution, everyone did great and Aiun was given the [Key to the Focusing Iris] (i got it last time). We plan to equip all of our tanks and healers with the keys and then allow DPS classes to roll on them.

After we downed Sapphiron we went on to Kel’Thuzad and took him out in one shot as well. I’m still in the process of editing the video (i’ve got to speed phase 1 up so that it’s under 10 minutes long), as soon as it’s ready I’ll upload it to youtube and post it here.

We killed Sapphiron and Kel’Thuzad on our very first attempts yesterday! I finally got my Tier 7 Helm: [Heroes' Deadnaught Greathelm]! Everyone did a great job, I’m editing the video to make it fit within Youtube’s constraints (10 minutes max, 1gb max) - after which I’ll upload it and post it here. Grats to the Naxxramas BLACK Sunday group on an awesome boss take down!

In other news, has a new guild website: www.omnomnomnomguild.com. We’re recruiting almost any class (we _really_ need resto shaman) - so head on over and apply if you want to raid with a bunch of cool laid back folks

PS: I have over 80 some videos on youtube that i need to write strategies for. I promise I’ll get to it eventually

We cleared the first 4 wings of Naxxramas and Sapphiron and now we’re working on Kel’Thuzad, I’ve got some videos to upload (we downed Sapp on our 3rd attempt and with only 2 healers) and as soon as they’re uploaded I’ll put some strategies up We’re going to finish of Kel’Thuzad tonight as we were way too tired last night.
